Santa Clara won against Partizan (2-1)

This Thursday, Santa Clara beat Partizan, by 2-1, at the São Miguel stadium, in a duel related to the first leg of the play-off for access to the group stage of the Europa Conference League.

The Azoreans are thus closer to the next stage of competition, leaving in advantage for Belgrade, where they will play in a week, August 26, for the conclusion of the tie.

The formation of Daniel Ramos went ahead after just four minutes, with a deadly deflection from Carlos Júnior, to four minutes in, but in the complementary stage, they scored twice in the match with a well-aimed shot by Morita, after a beautiful individual play by the Japanese.

On 54 minutes, Partizan re-entered the tie through a lethal Vujacic header.
