Santarém hosts concerts by Manel Cruz, Tó Trips, Camané and Mário Laginha
In partnership with the Coordinating Group for the Centenary of the Birth of Bernardo Santareno-Santarém, the TSB receives, on the 19th and 21st of November, two shows integrated in the centennial celebrations, ‘Readings Staged – The Last Scenes of Santareno’, with artistic direction by Jorge Louraço Figueira, and ‘A Arder’, by the company João Garcia Miguel, based on the work ‘O Judeu’, by Bernardo Santareno.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he ‘Staged Readings‘ start from the short plays and pictures written by Bernardo Santareno between 1974 and 1980, the year of the author’s death, studied by students of the Interpretation Course at Dr. Ginestal Machado High School throughout this month, in a dramaturgical analysis workshop, being presented on November 19, at 18:00.
The play ‘A Arder’, which will be presented on November 21, at 21:30, has the participation of local members of the associations ARAT, Cão Raivoso, and Veto Teatro Oficina.
In December, Tó Trips presents, on the 4th, at 9:30 pm, his most recent work, the soundtrack of the film “Surdina“, by Rodrigo Areias, in a cine-concert format, in collaboration with the Cineclube de Santarém.
Camané and Mário Laginha get together on the TSB stage on the 12th, at 9:30 pm, to present ‘Aqui está-se Sossegado‘, culminating the program of the year with ‘O Barber of Seville’, by G. Rossini, on the day December 19 at 9 pm
