In a month of traditional festivities, in which the Popular Saints are honored and celebrated, the Hotel Casino Chaves hosts the three June festivities with various themed dinners, always accompanied by the best live music.
The celebrations begin on the 12th of June, the day on which Santo António sponsors the party, bringing the spirit and good mood of the Lisbon marches to the city of Chaves. São João follows, on the 23rd, a Saint so well known and typical of the North, that between little hammers and singing will accompany a dinner full of joy and emotion. Last but not least, it’s São Pedro’s turn on the 28th of June, ending the Popular Saints festivities with a toast of aromas and flavors alluding to the celebration.
Each of these nights will feature a specially prepared buffet dinner, with a variety of traditional Portuguese dishes. Dinners will include the traditional and appreciated grilled sardines, broth green with chorizo, grilled vegetables, barbecue, a delicious range of desserts, sangrias, wines and even the typical and refreshing beer, for absolutely unforgettable celebrations of the Popular Saints. Accompanying the gastronomic delights, live music will be the soul of the party, providing a lively and festive atmosphere worthy of the best month of the year.
