São Brás hosts the final of the Portugal Cup of Endurance MTB this Sunday
The organization believes that the forecast rain will make the race more challenging and fun.
The best MTB athletes from all over the country will be in São Brás de Alportel this weekend, to compete in the final of the National Cup of Enduro MTB that will take place on October 31st. The competition will bring together, on the trails of this mountain council, around 200 participants, mostly Portuguese and Spanish.
The race will consist of four distinct courses of high physical and technical demand and the results obtained by the athletes will decide the national classification and who will take the podium this year in this modality.
Weather forecasts of rain do not frighten the organization or the participants.
“The rain will further improve the terrain and the competition will be more fun for those who participate and for those who will see it”, explains Rui Cruz, president of the Association X Dream Blasius – Association for the Development of Two Wheel Sports, which organizes this competition in partnership with the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel, integrated in the Cup at national level, organized by the National Cycling Federation.
