Aware of this reality, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel has acquired around a hundred computers and internet access devices to ensure that all children in the municipality are able to study at a distance during confinement periods to prevent contagion by COVID- 19.
Some of this equipment was delivered to the José Belchior Viegas School Group in the first half of February and is an important complement to the support in this area provided by the Ministry of Education.
It is also important to mention that the effort of the Ministry of Education and the Municipality has been added to the community’s solidarity action, through the provision of computers and other equipment, which after its restoration, with the generous collaboration of a local company, it has been possible to make available more equipment to students who need it.
