São Brás de Alportel offers Christmas Gift Cards to its employees

In the impossibility of having the usual Christmas get-together with its workers with the traditional gift of a souvenir, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel chose this year to offer all workers, collaborators, and volunteers, a shopping voucher in local shops.

With the delivery of these vouchers of €25.00, which can be used in a wide range of commercial establishments, agri-food products, and local restaurants, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel marks this time of union and fraternity, recognizing the effort and commitment of everyone at the service of the community, in an atypical and especially demanding year, marked by unexpected challenges; while contributing to the local economy.

The delivery of these 450 vouchers is part of a set of supplementary measures to support the local economy during the Christmas period, resulting in a direct injection of around € 11,500.00 in local shops and restaurants and support which can still be dropped as the use of vouchers can encourage more purchases.

Supplementary support for the local economy during the Christmas period is another initiative of the Municipal Emergency Fund COVID-19 under the motto “Buy Here Inside – This Christmas, do your shopping in local stores. Pamper Yours, Take Care of Everyone!”.

Supplementary measures to support the local economy include the Christmas Weekly Draw, which involves local commerce and restaurants, with the offer of 120 vouchers for a total value of €3,500.00; the offer of vouchers for local services to be attributed to participants in local initiatives and the launch of the Christmas Catalog of Local Commerce with paper and digital version.

A special Christmas campaign aimed at local artisans and producers through the Feira da Serra Digital Portal; the holding of Handicraft Feirinhas in individual format daily in the Atrium of the CineTeatro and weekly in the Municipal Market constitute another axis of this strategy to support the local economy of São Paulo.
