São João do Campo with two new green spaces for leisure
The parish of São João do Campo has two new leisure spaces, which were inaugurated yesterday by the president of the Municipality (CM) of Coimbra, Manuel Machado, and by the president of the Parish Council, Dinis Pereira. The deep redevelopment of the former Lavadouros space is the result of the combined efforts of the parish and the City Council, which financed the work with around 20 thousand euros, while the new Paúl Leisure Park is an initiative of the Parish Council of São João do Campo.
Two new spaces were inaugurated yesterday in the parish of São João do Campo. The space of the former Lavadouros, on Coronel António Eliseu street, was profoundly reclassified. What used to be an abandoned space with an accumulation of garbage has given way to a green space for leisure, pleasant, ecological and for family living in the open air.
The place was cleaned, trees and grass were planted, benches and garden tables were installed, and the old wash-hand basins were refurbished, and are still used with some regularity. A work that results from the joint efforts of CM Coimbra and the Parish Council of São João do Campo, the work having been financed with around 20 thousand euros.

At the intersection of Cioga do Campo, on the Serafim Gomes Ferreira road, the new Paúl Leisure Park was born. An initiative of the Parish Council of São João do Campo, which transformed a desolate and unusable place into a pleasant space to promote the conviviality of the customers.
