São Luiz received on Sunday, December 1st the Abraço Gala, a date that marks the World Day to Fight AIDS, with a show of transformism, with transvestites, drag queens, trans and LGBTQIA+ artists, where it celebrates inclusion, and solidarity, in one night for the defence of human rights and equality.
Show with the signature of the Association Abraço and São Luiz Municipal Theater that counted this year with Ana Bacalhau and Cláudia Pascoal.
A gala full of joy, fun, glamour and good mood, to which the São Luiz Theater has been associated for more than a decade. Created in 1992 by Carlos Castro, as Noite dos Travestis Gala, this has always been an occasion to fight against stigmas and prejudices and to support the work done by the Association Abraço, which since its foundation provides support to people with HIV and AIDS.
