Valentine’s Day with dinner and show by Nuno Guerreiro & Mau Feitio at Casino Estoril

With a romantic program reserved for Valentine’s night, Casino Estoril proposes the celebration of this special date in the Salão Preto e Prata.
It’s a suggestion for a different night that starts with a special dinner and continues with a show by Nuno Guerreiro & Mau Feitio. Guests Shout and Miguel Moura will also be in the spotlight in a unique show, marked by the fusion of talent, emotion and celebration of music. With a glamorous atmosphere, the invitation is scheduled for next February 14th, starting at 8 pm. Price: €75 per person.
Nuno Guerreiro is, indisputably, one of the most important interpreters of Portuguese music in the last 30 years. As the voice of Ala dos Namorados, he gave life to some of the songs that are part of our history, such as “Loucos de Lisboa”, “Solta-se o Beijo”, “A História do Zé Passarinho”, “Caçador de Sois”, “Fim do Mundo” and “Siga a Marinha”, among others, born from the talent of great poets and composers such as João Monge, João Gil and Manuel Paulo.
In his art of singing and performing, Nuno Guerreiro’s main influence and inspiration is the voice and genius of Amália Rodrigues, from whom he assimilated authenticity and Portuguese identity. Therefore, in the 1990s, alongside Madredeus and Mísia, he was one of the great promoters of the international movement of what was then called “New Fado”, through the Ala dos Namorados.
Mau Feitio is a collective of musicians from Loulé, Carvoeiro and Portimão. The band, made up of Portuguese guitar, electric guitar, bass and accordion, accompanies the singer’s voice on a genuine musical journey full of Portuguese identity.
For this special show, on a date dedicated to the celebration of love, Nuno Guerreiro invites two prominent names:
– Miguel Moura, an emerging artist, deeply rooted in Portuguese musical traditions, whose modern and personal approach promises to revitalize and enrich the national musical panorama.
– Shout, is a group made up of 11 singers who, through their songs, transmit all the energy and joy of gospel. The Shout! choir was created in May 1995 to accompany the singer Sara Tavares in her first work, resulting in the release of Sara Tavares & Shout, the first album in Portugal with a gospel sound. Since then, they have collaborated with Santos & Pecadores, Adelaide Ferreira, Rui Veloso, Ala dos Namorados and Boss AC.
With a fixed menu, the “Valentine’s Day” dinner includes the following menu: “Fish and crustacean bisque, herring caviar and samphire”, “Veal steak with port reduction, potato galette and wild asparagus”; Ruby Champagne; Coffee, tea and water; Wines: White Montinho de São Miguel and Red Cicónia.
