The stage, the room and the city were no strangers to her, but last night’s concert by Sara Correia at the Tivoli BBVA Theater was her debut at Womex, the Worldwide Music Expo, a fair that runs in Lisbon until October 23.
In its 28th edition, with more than 60 artists from all over the world performing on different stages in the city, Sara Correia was one of those selected to show her Fado.
And he did it with the explosion of emotion that we know him. With a repertoire between the two albums released – the homonymous Sara Correia and Do Coração -, the latter of which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2021 and awarded the Play award for Best Fado Record in Portugal, the fado singer enchanted an audience filled with of people from all over the world who stopped to hear her sing.
Sara Correia is currently in the studio preparing what will be her third album, which is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2023.
