On the eve of taking the stage of the already sold-out Grande Auditorium of the CCB, on the 27th of May, fado singer Sara Correia has just released her acclaimed second album, “Do Coração”, on vinyl, in a format designed for collectors, music lovers, and music lovers. of Fado.
Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, “Do Coração” was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Portuguese Roots Album and won the PLAY award for Best Fado Album.
“Do Coração” was originally released in 2020 and features themes by some of the great national authors of today, such as Luísa Sobral, Carolina Deslandes, Joana Espadinha, Vitorino, António Zambujo, Manuela de Freitas, Jorge Cruz, Mário Pacheco and Diogo Clemente, who, in addition to being the author, was also the producer of the record.
The singles “Chegou Tá Tarde”, “Say No”, “Porquê do Fado” and “Antes Que Digas Adeus” were taken from the album. The vinyl edition will be available at FNAC stores starting today.
Now, Sara Correia is preparing to perform in the Great Auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Belém, being the only sold-out show this year in the “Há Fado no Cais” cycle, thus showing, once again, the power of live performances by this is an incomparable voice in Fado.
Sara Correia will also take to the stage at Casa da Música on June 17th, and there are still tickets available for this show.
