Sara Correia Sold out CCB Grand Auditorium and International Rooms
Lisbon, Bilbao, Helsinki and Tallinn surrendered to the power of the fado singer's voice
Sara Correia has just sold out the large auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Belém, with about a month left to give her concert promoted by the Museu do Fado, on the 27th of May. This is the only sold-out show this year in the Há Fado no Cais cycle, thus showing, once again, the power of live performances by this incomparable voice in Fado.
This is the first of two great concerts that mark the end of a cycle with “Do Coração” and the beginning of another. It is expected that Sara Correia will debut live unpublished songs that will only be released on the new album, which is estimated to arrive at the end of this year.
But not only in Portugal is the success of Sara Correia mirrored. Rooms like the BBK in Bilbao, Spain; as well as the performances at the April Jazz Festival in Espoo in Finland or at Jazzkaar, festival in Tallinn in Estonia, were filled to hear her sing. In Tallinn, Sara Correia was honored to be the cover of the event’s program.
It should be remembered that Sara Correia’s most recent single is a collaboration with the Spanish, also nominated for the Latin Grammys, Israel Fernández, in “Bocas do Mundo”.
Sara Correia will also take to the stage at Casa da Música on June 17th, and tickets are still available for this show.
