Sara Correia is nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the Best Acting Performance category for the show she performed at the Coliseu do Porto in March 2024.
The concert, which played in four sold-out venues, three at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon and one at the Coliseu do Porto Ageas, is featured on her album +Liberdade, available on CD and digital platforms.
For over an hour at the Coliseu do Porto, Sara Correia performed 17 fados and songs, including new releases from her third album, Liberdade, and essential fados from her repertoire, as well as some of her greatest hits, “Chelas,” “Quero é Viver,” and “Que o Amor Te Salve Nesta Noite Escura,” the song of the moment that took over the charts on all digital platforms, by Pedro Abrunhosa, who was her guest on this iconic and unforgettable evening.
This appointment further confirms Sara Correia’s prominent position in both national music and Fado, just nine months away from her debut at the country’s largest venue, the MEO Arena, on March 7, 2026.
