Sara Correia is nominated for the Latin Grammy for best roots music album in Portuguese, with “Do Coração“, while Salvador Sobral’s “BPM” is nominated in the category of best sound engineering, for the work of Nelson Carvalho, Leo Aldrey, Rafael Giner and Tiago Sousa.
Released a year ago, “Do Coração” is the second album by fado singer Sara Correia, and has themes written and composed by various names, such as Diogo Clemente, Joana Espadinha, Luísa Sobral, Jorge Cruz, Carolina Deslandes and António Zambujo, with whom Sara Correia recorded a duet.
“BPM” is the album that Salvador Sobral edited last May, signing almost all the themes, with music by Leo Aldrey.
The record is nominated for a Latin Grammy for his sound engineering work, signed by Nelson Carvalho, Leo Aldrey, Rafael Giner, and Tiago Sousa.
The singer Carolina Deslandes appears among the nominees at the Latin Grammy for best long-length video with “Mulher”, a short film directed by Filipe Correia dos Santos and produced by Pedro Caldeirão.
Carolina Deslandes released this short film, which she stars in last November together with an EP, also titled “Mulher”.
The Latin Grammy winners will be announced on November 18 in Las Vegas, USA.
