On the way to the release of her debut album, scheduled for October, Sara Cruz presents the new single “Faithful“, a song that marks another step in the construction of her artistic career and helps unveil what will be possible to discover in this new work.
Deep and bold, the song builds detailed imagery, where sarcasm is intertwined with an engaging and human narrative. “Faithful” breaks with the artist’s usual language, a folk-pop aesthetic line in an intimate and confessional tone, and presents an innovative and provocative aesthetic about the singles that the Azorean singer and songwriter have been revealing in recent months: “Day or Two “, “Grass Is Greener”, “Plot Holes” and “The Show”.
Sara Cruz was FNAC New Talent in 2019, winner of the “NiT New Talent” competition, participated in the documentary “House of Talents”, promoted by Yamaha Music Europe and, recently, was part of the 28th OuTonalidades Group for the showcase program.
With a promising future ahead, Sara Cruz continues to impress and inspire with her authentic and passionate music. Proof of this has been its recent trajectory with presence in prominent events such as the IKFEM Festival, a prestigious festival that promotes unique concerts that cross Spanish and Portuguese cultures and which welcomed Sara Cruz as one of three emerging Portuguese projects to present a showcase at Ponte Internacional, as well as the two Azorean festivals Meo Monte Verde, where she debuted on the main stage, accompanied by artists Cristóvam and Romeu Bairos and Maré de Agosto.
