Singer and songwriter Sara Tavares, nominated for a Latin Grammy, whose winners are known Thursday in the United States, said she will “sleep peacefully” and “without high expectations.”

Last year the winner in this category was the CD “Ao Vivo – Melodias Do Sertão” by Bruna Viola.
Sara Tavares, who is preparing with Capicua her next performance, at the Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico, which opens on the 24th, said that when the winners are announced, she is already sleeping, as she lies down early and will wait until the next morning to meet the distinguished, but has no “expectation”.

This is the third appointment of Mariza, the previous two were in 2007 and 2008, in the category of “Best Folk Music Album”.
Fado singer Carlos do Carmo was the first Portuguese artist to receive a Latin Grammy, by Carreira, in 2014.
