SC Braga beat AEK for the Europa League

SC Braga won AEK in Athens 4-2, for the match of the fifth round of Group G of the Europa League, under arbitration by Bulgarian Giorgi Kabakov.

The team coached by Carlos Carvalhal heads to the Europa League round of 32 and can still discuss first place with Leicester – both teams are ahead with 10 points. On the last matchday, the team from Braga receives Zorya.

At 10 minutes Braga was already 2-0 ahead, after goals from Tormena and Esgaio. A slip from Tormena in a bad delay for Matheus allowed Nelson Oliveira to reduce, but Ricardo Horta made up the difference of 2 goals by making it 3-1 in Athens just before the break.

In the second half, Galeno made it 4-1, with Vasilantonopoulos still down for the Greeks.
