Scottish band Belle and Sebastian returns to Portugal in November

The Scottish indie pop band Belle and Sebastian return to Portugal on November 6 for a concert at the Aula Magna in Lisbon, the promoter House of Fun announced today.

Belle and Sebastian, “who has come to delight audiences with unique and unpredictable shows,” will present his latest work, “How To Solve Our Human Problems,” released in February last year, reads the statement.

Led by musician and vocalist Stuart Murdoch, the band consists of guitarist Stevie Jackson, vocalist Sarah Martin, keyboardist Chris Geddes, drummer Richard Colburn, and bassist Bobby Kildea.

According to the promoter, her debut album, “Tigermilk”, released in 1996, brought Belle and Sebastian “the place in the history of music”.

With 10 released albums, such as “Storytelling” in 2002, and “Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance” in 2015, the indie pop band released three compilations titled “Push Barman to Open Old Wounds” in 2005, The Third Eye Center “in 2013, and” The Jeepster Singles Collection “in 2016.

With 23 years of existence, they also produced soundtracks for films such as “Juno” and “The Power of Nightmares”, and released three EPs (extended play), recordings on vinyl records in 1997, 1998 and at the end 2017.

In Portugal, Belle and Sebastian have performed at the NOS Primavera Sound festival in Oporto in 2015 and at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon in 2006.

Tickets for the Aula Magna concert are now on sale, with prices starting at 24 euros.
