Scotturb’s contingency plan is maintained as long as the State of Emergency decreed by the Government is in force, and with a strict contingency plan the company reinforces the bus routes in Cascais.
Scotturb announces reinforcement of schedules for the municipal bus careers of Cascais in the morning and afternoon peak periods, this measure remains in force during the State of Emergency decreed by the Government in order to minimize the risk of contagion by COVID-19 to workers and passengers
Careers 461, 462, 464, 475, 488 and 490 maintain working day schedules. Careers 400, 401, 402, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 411, 412, 413, 414, 415, 419, 423 and 427 are held on Saturday, with extra trips.
Scotturb and Cascais Municipality continue to work closely together to minimize the risk of contagion by COVID-19 from workers and passengers on board buses.
Among the preventive measures, we highlight the reinforcement of the cleaning team by professionals provided by the Municipality.
The daily disinfection of the areas with the greatest manual contact of the vehicles, as well as rods, handles, bell buttons, door handles and the driver’s steering wheel, is carried out by the Scotturb cleaning team at night, when the buses pick up at the company’s premises.
In addition, buses are cleaned and sanitized more frequently at the Cascais and Carcavelos terminals every day between 7 am and 7 pm by teams of workers provided by the Cascais City Council.
