March 27th is World Theater Day, but it is also the 1st anniversary of the public performance of Seiva Trupe at Sala Estúdio Perpétuo (Rua Costa Cabral, 128).
A year later, as everyone knows, Seiva Trupe is going through enormous vicissitudes resulting from the decision of an ad-hoc jury of the DGArtes Contests, despite having been classified to access the level to which it competed. This situation, however – and through the intervention of many other personal and institutional agents – is not yet a closed matter.
On that same World Theater Day, more will be known, precisely in the Sala Estúdio Perpétuo, where, in addition to these issues, Seiva Trupe presents a performative initiative: “A LIVING THEATER IS CALLED”, with music, poetry, and a theatrical note.
It also takes advantage of the circumstance and significance of the date to pay homage to one of its founders, actor António Reis, who left almost a year ago. And he also takes the opportunity to present his new website, refurbished; and give an account of what it projects for the present and for the future.
Admission is free, but subject to reservation. The event starts at 21:15
