European Championship in Roller Hockey
The women’s roller hockey team made its debut in the European championship with a landslide victory over England, 11-0 at the Pavilhão Municipal do Luso.
The game that opened the European Championship, in Mealhada, Aveiro, Italy beat France 3-0, Portugal then played with the English and at half-time, they were winning 4-0, in a game that turned out to be easy, with emphasis on Ana Catarina, with four goals.
The Portuguese domain was great and at 4 minutes Sofia Moncóvio, opened the scoring, the Portuguese team dominated the game and the countless shots on goal by England would end up justifying such a massive result.
Spain plays Italy today at 17:30, Portugal plays France at 20:00.
