The Portuguese women’s futsal team thrashed Santa Luzia 6-0 this Friday, in a game of preparation for the Elite Round of qualification for the European Championship, played in Braga.
The day after beating Novasemente 3-1 in Espinho, Portugal, who led 2-0 at half-time, he won an overwhelming victory with an ‘encore’ by Janice Silva and goals by Sara Ferreira, ‘Blondie’, Liana Alves and Cristiana Costa.
In the Elite round, between 19 and 24 October, Portugal will fight in Group 2, with Croatia, Poland and Slovenia.
The second edition of the European Women’s Futsal Championship was postponed one year due to the covid-19 and will take place in March 2022, in a country yet to be defined.
