Selina and Fiverr Partners Bring Remote Workers Around the World Together

The partnership includes a “Work from Anywhere” contest where Fiverr freelancers can win free accommodation at Selina units.

Grupo Selina, one of the largest international hotel groups, in collaboration with Fiverr International Lda, a platform of freelance services on a global scale, enter into a partnership to respond to the needs of “remote workers”, that is, those traveling at least two local, national or international, throughout the year.

Grupo Selina and Fiverr intend to create opportunities for these workers to find a community, allowing them to relate to other travelers with similar interests, creating bonds through events and face-to-face meetings, which allow them to combat, in this way, one of the biggest challenges of those who choose to work anywhere on the planet: solitude.

The “Anywhere Worker” study developed by Fiverr and Lonely Planet – one of the best-known travel guide publishers –, released in May 2022, reveals that 90% of remote workers feel lonely when adopting this lifestyle.

In the context of this partnership, members of the Fiverr platform community have special access to Selina units worldwide, for a period of 3-4 weeks. Selina offers guests beautiful places to stay, travel, and work abroad. The company uses deep local knowledge to create authentic activities and experiences in more than 163 destinations worldwide.

The “Work from Anywhere” contest will run for three weeks (from August 11th to September 1st) and Fiverr freelancers from around the world can, during that period, submit entries for the chance to win Fiverr travel vouchers at the value of approximately 2,000 euros, as well as 250,000 Selina Tokens (approximately 2,000 euros in overnight stays and services in Selina spaces) to be used in accommodation, wellness activities in each unit and access to the hot-desk. During their stay, the winners of this contest will also document and share with the world their experience as remote workers.
