Sérgio Maciel and Adriano Conceição, silver and bronze in the European Marathon

Sergio Maciel, under-23 kayakers in C1, and Adriano Conceição in K1 won the silver and bronze medals in the European Marathon, are now three podiums of Portugal.

In Decize, France, Sérgio Maciel, who was World Champion in 2018, finished the race 51.41 seconds from the Ukrainian Denys Davydov’s gold medal at 1: 50.39.99 hours, with Polish Mateusz Borgiel taking the last podium place, 2.32 minutes from the winner.

Adriano Conceição secured the sprint with third place, 5.10 minutes from Dane Mads Pedersen at 1: 52.51 hours, who took first, second place for compatriot Thorbjorn Rask with another 32 seconds.
