Sesimbra-style sea soup

A delicious sea soup, where there is no shortage of seafood and fish. Tasty any time of the year. Try it and delight yourself.

Doses 6 portions


1 pinch sweet pepper or paprika
1 green pepper
1 branch green smells parsley, mint and coriander
1 blond leaf
2 ripe tomatoes
4 cloves garlic
2 medium onions
olive oil
350 gr shrimps
1,250 kg fish
1 mussels, cockles and clams


Wash and soak in salted water, mussels, cockles, and clams. After an hour drain well.
Bake the fish already dawned in salted water. Remove the fish and in the same water cook the shrimp.
Cover the bottom of a pan with olive oil and sauté the onion and the finely chopped garlic.
Add the chopped clean tomatoes, bay leaf and sprig of green smells.
When the sauté is well done add the fish broth after stripping.
Add the clean, chopped peppers, paprika, mussels, cockles and clams. Cook for a few minutes and add the peeled prawns.
