Celebrating two years, Boca Linda transforms September into a vibrant festival of culture, flavours and experiences, in tune with the vivacity and spirit that so well characterize the homeland of a thousand flavours.
September promises to be a month of great celebrations in Boca Linda, which begins on the 13th with the celebrations of its second anniversary and Mexican independence, and is followed by many other moments such as nights of dinner and music, the return of the renowned Chef of Casa Marco Margain to present an exclusive menu and a workshop, as well as the restaurant’s participation in the prestigious Chefs on Fire gastronomic festival and the Mexican Embassy Independence Party.
With the end of the holidays and the return to routine and the capital, Boca Linda kicks off its September program on a Friday the 13th that promises to be memorable, celebrating not only the restaurant’s anniversary but also the “ El Grito”, the landmark of the beginning of the struggle for Mexican independence. To mark the occasion, Boca Linda promises to transform the night into a vibrant celebration that brings together tradition and authentic flavours, in a party with a cocktail-style dinner and open bar (€35 pre-sale; €40 normal sale), between 7 pm and 1 am that will certainly leave no one indifferent. The menu is characterized by a selection of authentic dishes, such as the classic Guacamole, Elotes, a typical corn starter full of flavours, Ceviche de Pescado, Tostadas de Pollo, Tostada de Ceviche and Tostada de Salpicón de Venado, among others, which they will be accompanied by the best-unlimited cocktails, solidifying the promise of a unique night.
Still, in September, Boca Linda receives a visit from the renowned Chef, Marco Margain, who returns directly from Mexico to launch an exclusive menu – with the option of choosing the simple menu (€ 25) or a more extensive version of it ( € 40) – available from September 15th to 19th, and promises to be a true gastronomic journey through the cultural richness of its country of origin and the contagious vivacity that characterizes it. Willing to reveal some of the secrets of Mexican gastronomy, the Chef also holds a Ceviche Workshop (€40), the delicacy that requires a certain amount of mastery to achieve the perfect balance between the citrus flavours and the freshness of the ingredients, promising an enriching experience for everyone lovers of authentic cuisine on September 16th between 12 pm and 3 pm.
Taking advantage of the presence of Chef Marco for another highlight, Boca Linda is also participating in the prestigious Chefs on Fire festival, which takes place from September 20th to 22nd, having been invited to join the Bites segment, with the Elotes dish, in standing out as representatives of authentic Mexican cuisine in one of the most important gastronomic events of the year. This moment, together with the invitation made by the Embassy of Mexico for Boca Linda to be present at its Independence Celebration event, on September 14th, reinforces the idea that the restaurant has been charting a coherent path as the most authentic Mexican restaurant of the capital.
As if all these initiatives weren’t enough, the entertainment extends to Thursday afternoons, when Boca Linda hosts renowned DJs for the dinner and music concept on the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of September with cocktails from the house at a special price from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
Synonymous with celebration, the month of September guarantees that there is no shortage of opportunities to celebrate in Boca Linda, where tradition and innovation merge to welcome the best that Mexico has to offer.
