Shawn Mendes releases, “Why Why Why” and “Isn’t That Enough”

Songs feature the musician's next album, Shawn, which will be released on October 18

Shawn Mendes, famous GRAMMY-nominated singer and songwriter, has just released the new single “Why Why Why”, along with the song “Isn’t That Enough”. Both themes are now available on all digital platforms.

Both songs were taken from Shawn Mendes’ new album, Shawn, due out on October 18th. Available for pre-order here. Shawn’s fifth studio album draws deeply from his travels and experiences over the past few years following the cancellation of his 2022 tour. It represents his most musically intimate and lyrically honest work to date, guiding listeners through a profound dialogue with yourself in each song. Written and recorded over two years, the project was conceived in several locations, including Nosara, Costa Rica; Clubhouse Studio in Rhinebeck, NY; Bear Creek Studio in Washington State; Darkhorse Recordings in Nashville; and Electric Lady in New York.

The album was written and co-produced by Mendes, along with collaborators Scott Harris, Mike Sabath (“My 21st Century Blues” by Raye), Nate Mercereau (“New Blue Sun” by Andre 3000) and Eddie Benjamin, with additional songs co-written with GRAMMY-winning songwriter Amy Allen with Ethan Gruska (Bon Iver and Phoebe Bridgers). The album also features instrumentation by Chris Thile, from Punch Brothers.
