Shawn Mendes to hit Lisbon in August as he returns to the road
Coming off a string of headlining festivals across Latin America in 2025, multi-platinum and GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has announced that he will be “On The Road Again” this year, with new dates added to his tour in Europe and North America.
The upcoming shows promise a career-spanning lineup that celebrates his biggest hits from the past ten years. The new tour will hit Lisbon at MEO Arena on August 28th this year, taking fans on a musical journey from his debut album to his latest release, Shawn.
Shawn wrote of the shows: “I feel like this time away has allowed me to come back with a new perspective and remember how incredibly special it is to be able to play live shows. It’s an honour and I’m deeply grateful that they continue to show up, even after 10 years, with so much love.”
Set to kick off on August 5, the tour will continue through the fall, hitting cities like London, Amsterdam, Madrid and more. After historic performances at Rock in Rio and headlining Lollapalooza in India, Argentina, Chile and Brazil, Shawn will continue to dominate the stage in 2025. The European leg kicks off in Krakow, then heads to North America in September, with shows in Toronto, New York, Chicago and ending at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Maro and Lubiana will join Mendes in Europe, while Eddie Benjamin will be the special guest in North America.
On his Instagram, Mendes shared: “I discovered Maro’s music a few years ago and she immediately became one of my favourite artists. To be honest, I’m kind of speechless about her joining us. Same with Lubiana – she blows my mind and embodies everything I stand for as an artist. And finally, this incredibly talented, humble human being and my brother, Eddie, will be joining us in North America.”
