SIC Mulher premieres Turkish series “Lifeline”

Premieres February 24th at 9:15pm

“Lifeline” is an inspiring story of courage and hope with great international success

In the month in which it celebrates its 22nd birthday and Women’s Month is celebrated, SIC Mulher premieres “Lifeline” (original title “Sen Anlat Karadeniz”), a series that gives voice to one of the most important social causes today: the fight against domestic violence.

Lifeline” is considered one of the most impactful Turkish productions of recent years, especially for the way it addresses domestic violence, a delicate and socially relevant topic. The series was and is an international success, mainly because it is not limited to telling a dramatic story. It generates empathy and promotes debate about the condition of women who are victims of abuse, highlighting the importance of a support network and hope for new beginnings.

The Turkish series tells the moving story of Nefes, a woman who, after being sold by her father to an abusive man, suffered years of abuse. Determined to save herself and her son, Nefes manages to escape and finds in Tahir, a brave man from the Black Sea region, the support and strength to start over.

This is a story of courage and hope that reflects the journey of so many women who face their fears daily and refuse to give up on a better future. A powerful narrative that promises to leave no one indifferent in a month that is special for all women and for SIC Mulher.

Premieres on February 24th, at 9:15 pm, on SIC Mulher. Airing from Monday to Friday, always at 9:00 pm.
