Marta Dias is a Portuguese singer-songwriter with a musical career spanning over two decades.
Born in Lisbon, of Santomean and Goan descent, Marta Dias has come across, throughout her career, the diverse and multiple cultural influences that shaped her musical taste.
She collaborated with such disparate names as rapper General D, pianist Carlos Barreto Xavier or Mestre António Chaínho, with whom she also performed on national and international tours, which resulted in an album in partnership with Mestre, as a summary of these years concerts and travel.
In anticipation of the new album “A kiss for tomorrow”, Marta Dias releases the single “À Janela”, a song in the form of a chorinho – the singer’s old passion – punctuated by Edu Miranda’s mandolin, and which challenges and encourages the listener, from a true and genuine way, looking out for the World and for its other inhabitants.
