Sintra hosts exhibition on African art, culture and heritage

Sintra City Council hosts the African Art exhibition from the Ethnology Museums of Europe, Africa and America, from October 23rd to December 31st, at the Casa da Cultura Lívio de Morais, in Mira Sintra.

The exhibition takes place in the context of celebrations of African cultures, in which African Heads of State declared “2021 – Year of Arts, Culture and African Heritage”, contributing to the promotion of African and Afro-descendant cultures, so that they can perform fully play its role in promoting development and peace.

The initiative comes as part of a partnership between the municipality of Sintra and the Associação do Centro Cultural Luso Moçambicano. The initiative is part of the “PAAI-2021 Program”, with full funding from the ACM – High Commission for Migration.
