The rapper, producer, composer and creative director will debut his new full-length on the Musicbox stage, on the 10th of next month.
The first big appearance of the “ninja” already has a date set: on May 10th, at Musicbox, SleepyThePrince takes the stage to shake his helmet — literally. The rapper, producer, composer and creative director whose brand image is characterized by a helmet on a red cloth take his new album to the music venue based on one of the most famous streets in the capital next month.
The materialization of THE NINJA SPIRIT on stage therefore marks the start of a new cycle of performances by the author of the IN MY MELANCHOLIC DREAMS saga. Published by Virgin Music Portugal, the new album by this enigmatic “prince” represents a more ambitious step in his career — he has already anticipated having another work in development yet to see the light of day.
In a project that includes the participation of people like YANKEMA, Deezy, MC NA VOZ, Mary J, Márcio Ferreira Safira, CarlaPrata and Silver YK in the foreground, it is to be expected that SleepyThePrince will not only come to this, his first concert under his name in the capital. It should be remembered, however, that although his history of solo performances is still short, the rapper already has significant experience in that role, as can be seen, in fact, by his performance at the NOS Alive Festival in 2023 at Clubbing Placo and more recently in La Punta, at the biggest finalists festival.
Now, with a new work in hand and 15 new tracks in his repertoire, SleepyThePrince is ready to assert the predominant message in his new project on May 11th: the tone of overcoming matches well with the house that welcomes him, a space that so many artists helped to form and saw grow, a basement that by its nature constitutes the ideal setting for the elevation of the “ninja spirit”.
