Slow J, Joe Kay, Trikk and Shaka Lion confirmed on ID NO LIMITS
After confirmation of the first names, Festival ID NO LIMITS confirms Slow J, Joe Kay, Trikk, Shaka Lion, Holly, Vaarwell, Chong Kwong, Ines Duarte, L-Ali (DJ AV), DJ Adamm, Ornella, Ze Ferreira and Co$tanza.
It is the absolute reinforcement that the electronic and urban music is part of the epicenter of the focus of the festival that will take place in Estoril (Cascais) on the 3rd and 4th of April.
The 2020 edition of the ID NO LIMITS festival was already confirmed by top performers such as Rejjie Snow, Kelsey Lu, Kindness, Jordan Rakei, Collective Ezra, Moses Boyd, Coucou Chloe, Biig Piig, Lhast, Carla Prata and PEDRO.
With 4 stages at the Estoril Congress Center, ID NO LIMITS will take place on April 3rd and 4th, continuing to focus on electronic and urban music, as well as the connection with contemporary arts and trends.
SLOW J released in September 2019 his latest work, You Are Forgiven. The artist is already one of the obligatory names of the current song in Portugal and will take the stage of ID NO LIMITS next year to present the new album. He wrote and performed his first two works – The Free Food Tape EP [2015] and The Art Of Slowing Down [2017] – in 2018 he founded with an childhood publisher an independent publisher (Sente Isto) and was the executive producer of “Deepak Papillon’s Looper [2018].
JOE KAY is confirmed on ID NO LIMITS and will take the stage for the first time at a Portuguese festival. The sound it brings to the track is a crossroads of cultures, based on the rhythmic beats of tropical sounds and the lightness of R&B voices. He is CEO and co-founder of Soulection – a worldwide recognized platform for the development of music and artists. As A&R director and host of Soulection Radio on Beats1 and active DJ in the worldwide music community.
TRIKK released the Knives EP in December 2019 and will present the new house underground rhythms on ID NO LIMITS. He is an internationally acclaimed producer and DJ, originally from Porto (Portugal) and now based in Berlin. The work of the producer has the Innervisions label by Dixon & me Innervisions label, being one of the next generation talents of house music underground.
SHAKA LION is not just a musical reflection of mixing and interculturality. The DJ performs a guest live set, specially designed for ID NO LIMITS. All borders are open to this samba that brings to the dance floor. The connection of the different forms of lusophone rhythmic expression – Brazil, Africa, Greater Lisbon – intertwine with Jamaica, making their sets a journey of tropical rhythms.
