Snoop Dogg, world rap icon, has just released “Another Part of Me” with Sting, produced by Dr. Dre and The ICU.
Last week, Snoop and Dr. Dre released “Outta Da Blue” with the special guest of Alus. Earlier this month, Snoop announced the release of their new album, Missionary, scheduled for December 13, with the release of “Gorgeous” with the collaboration of Jhené Aiko. “Gorgeous” debuted on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at #29, celebrating the rapper’s return to the respectable chart for the first time in 13 years.
Although Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre have worked together several times over the years, leaving an eternal legacy in rap and pop culture, Missionary is only the second time they’ve completed a record together since Snoop’s classic 1994 debut album Doggystyle. The album includes a list of heavy-weight hip-hop appearances, including Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, Method Man, the late Tom Petty, Jhené Aiko, among many others.
