Soda Blonde at Musicbox in May
After the success of their acclaimed second album, Dream Big, Irish band Soda Blonde arrive at Musicbox Lisboa on May 19th with new singles in their baggage.

The band continues to push artistic boundaries with their signature blend of raw emotion and catchy melodies. “The Saddest Thing,” the latest single, continues the journey started by “Bully,” further exploring the theme of unrequited love, delving into self-delusion and the melancholy of imagined connections as a way to fill an emotional void.
As lead singer Faye O’Rourke describes it, “It’s a reflection on the most tender parts of ourselves that often remain unseen.”
Soda Blonde — consisting of Faye O’Rourke (vocals), Adam O’Regan (guitar), Dylan Lynch (drums) and Donagh Seaver-O’Leary (bass) — had a remarkable year following the release of Dream Big, which received nominations for Album of the Year and Song of the Year (“Bad Machine”) at the Choice Music Prize. After a sold-out European tour and a stunning orchestral performance with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, the band is set to kick off 2025 with a series of concerts across Europe. These shows will allow fans to hear “The Saddest Thing” and “Bully” live, as well as Dream Big favourites.
On May 19th, Musicbox Lisboa will host a solo show by Soda Blonde, who promises to captivate Portuguese fans with her essence: raw, honest and uncompromisingly ambitious.
