The Festival O Sol da Caparica publishes a dance stage where hundreds of national and international dancers will pass and Salah Benlemqawanssa, one of the best dancers in the world!
Sol da Caparica starts the week by announcing that it will bring to the Urban Park of Costa da Caparica, the Dance Stage, where the best dancers and dance groups at the national and international levels will pass.
From the 11th to the 15th of August, around 250 dancers will pass, among the resident group (present daily on stage) Jazzy Dance Crew and the guest groups Dance Coolture, Dance Life Academy, Feel It Company, Kriss Kross Crew, Latin Attitude, Lil Malaikes , MGBoos, Star Fyah Crew and Soulja Fighters that will provide, through battles, true shows of hip hop, popping, house and breakdance. Yayaa, on the other hand, will transform this stage into a real Brazilian funk dance floor.
The festival will also be attended by the talented Salah Benlemqawanssa, one of the best popping dancers in the world. Also known as Spider Salah, considered a living legend, he was part of the Cirque du Soleil world tour, in the production Michael Jackson: The Immortal, and, in addition to countless other victories and achievements, he won the television shows Incroyable Talente ( 1st season, France, 2006), Arabs Got Talent (4th season, Arabia, 2015), among others.
In this space dedicated to dance, there will also be a talent contest – “The Stage is yours!” – where several dancers will compete solo.
Year after year, the festival increasingly seeks to focus on Portuguese culture: in addition to music and dance, O Sol da Caparica’22 has a comedy stage where Portuguese artists will be present to entertain the audience.

The Festival Sol da Caparica’22 is an initiative of the Municipality of Almada, produced by Grupo Chiado.
Grupo Chiado advises you to buy tickets only at Festicket, Meo Blueticket and at the other official points of sale: Fnac, Worten, El Corte Inglês, CTT, and Abep branches.
