- Until April of next year, Portuguese travellers will have access to packages with accommodation, transfers, and weekly direct flights to the islands of Sal and Boa Vista, in Cape Verde, with the Soltour quality seal.
- This special autumn/winter program, with departures from Lisbon and Porto, represents a strong commitment by Soltour to a key destination for the Portuguese market, offering sun and beach year-round, just a few hours away.
Soltour, a leading independent tour operator in Portugal and Spain, has invested in Cape Verde to reinforce its autumn/winter program.
The operation to the African archipelago, which takes place between November 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026, represents a clear strategic investment in a key destination for the operator and responds to the growing demand for sun and beach options with good weather during the colder months in Europe.

With flights operated by easyJet from Lisbon and Porto every week, Portuguese travellers can explore the islands of Sal and Boa Vista in comfort. The service to Sal includes direct flights on Tuesdays departing from Lisbon; from Porto, flights are on Wednesdays (from November 5th to March 25th) and Thursdays (in April). For Boa Vista, flights departing from Lisbon are on Thursdays, while passengers departing from Porto can travel on Sundays. Additionally, TAP also offers flights to Boa Vista from Lisbon on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
All Soltour packages include seven nights in a carefully selected range of hotels with various meal plans, from half-board to all-inclusive, as well as transfers and other logistical details ensured by Soltour professionals.
“The investment in winter operations to Cape Verde as a reinforcement of the seasonal program reflects our commitment to offering differentiated proposals to travel agencies and their clients. Cape Verde is a destination that perfectly combines sun, beach and good gastronomy, with the great advantage of being much closer than the Caribbean. Our in-depth knowledge of this destination allows us to present a solid operation, with all the comfort and quality that Portuguese travelers seek to escape the European winter,” says Luís Santos, Commercial Director of Soltour for Portugal and Spain.

The operation marks a reinforcement of the accessibility of the Cape Verde destination, which has established itself as a privileged alternative for those who want warmth, sea and authenticity, even outside the traditional high season in Portugal.
Cape Verde: African Caribbean just hours from Portugal
With average temperatures between 22ºC and 27ºC even in the winter months, Cape Verde is a haven of warmth and tranquillity in the middle of the Atlantic. The island of Sal, with its white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, is the perfect destination to relax or practice water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing. The island of Boa Vista enchants with its unspoiled nature, dunes, and extensive beaches, also being a privileged location for whale watching.
Cape Verdean culture is present in every corner: in the rhythms of morna and funaná, in the friendliness of the people, and in the rich gastronomy, marked by fresh fish, seafood, and Portuguese and African influences. More than just a holiday destination, Cape Verde is a vibrant and welcoming experience, where the Portuguese language and local hospitality create a sense of familiarity that especially appeals to domestic travellers.
With this new winter operation, Soltour reinforces its mission to provide travel solutions designed for the whole year, promoting sun and beach destinations that offer complete experiences of rest, culture, and authenticity.
