ColorADD is a universal colour code that can be used by about 350 million colour blind people around the world.
Sonae Indústria recently announced the partnership with ColorADD that will allow the establishment of a universal code of colours in all products of finishing and coating of the Surforma brand. The goal is to help colour blind people make more informed decisions.
ColorADD is a universal colour code that can be used by about 350 million colour blind people worldwide, according to a company statement.
This code allows colour-blinds to perceive the colours of a certain piece of furniture or clothing, the colour of the meter line or even the pencil you are using.
This partnership “aims to help colour blind people to correctly identify the colours of the materials, contributing to greater information at the time of choice,” says Sonae Indústria’s marketing and communications coordinator, Ana Teotónio Pereira.
