New edition of the Sou Quarteira festival in August, will now have two days of concerts and the poster will have names like Branko, Mayra Andrade, Mundo Segundo & Sam The Kid and Jimmy P.
“The Sou Quarteira Movement will once again bring music to Quarteira, in a festival format, on August 16 and 17, at Passeio das Dunas,” announced the organization in a statement and on both stages of the festival, “the public can attend concerts of artists like Allen Halloween, Branko, Eva Rap Diva, Jimmy P, Kojey Radical, MDA & Maskarilha, Mayra Andrade, Mina & Bryte, Mishlawi, Second World & Sam The Kid, PEDRO, Public Peril & Sickonce, Plutonium, Sacik Brow & Fragas, Dj Adamm, Dj Big, Dj Kwan and Progressivu “.
The Sou Quarteira Movement of which they are part – Dino D’Santiago, Inês Oliveira, Miguel Jacinto and Naomi Guerreiro -, “who seek to show through a set of activities the talent of Quarteira in various areas, from the arts to sports.”
In addition to the music festival, there will be the exhibition ‘Heroes of Quarteira’, which aims to “honour personalities who have contributed in some way to the cultural and social development of Quarteira” and will have a preview of a documentary.
The daily tickets for the festival cost ten euros and the two days pass 15 euros, but residents in Quarteira have a discount.
