South Korea, by Paulo Bento, ties with Panama
South Korea, led by Paulo Bento, drew 2-2 with Panama in Cheonan on Monday when the Portuguese side’s team lost a two-goal lead.
Park in the sixth minute and Hwang at 33 put South Korea to victory, but Arroyo at 45 and Blackburn at 49 put the match back and prevented Paulo Bento ahead of the Koreans.
The Portuguese coach, who took over South Korea in August, takes two wins and two draws in four games.
Also in private game, in Saitama, Japan beat Uruguay, 4-3, in a meeting where forward Nakajima was the starter and was featured in the Japanese lineup.
The Portimonense player assisted in the first goal of the home, scored by Minanimo in the 10th minute, and was in the play that resulted in the second, reached by Osako at 36. Doan, at 59, and again Minanimo, to the 66, made the remaining goals.
Uruguay’s Coates, Sporting’s full-time center-back Gaston Pereiro, 28 minutes, Edinson Cavani, 57, and Jonathan Rodriguez, who advanced to Benfica in the 75th minute, signed the goals of the South Americans.
