SpaceX wants to use new rocket to clean up space debris
Elon Musk’s SpaceX is currently developing a new rocket with which he hopes to one day carry out missions to Mars and travel in deep space.
“It is quite possible that we will be able to use the Starship to take some of these rocket remains – from other people, of course – basically, to remove some of this garbage from Space. It won’t be easy, but I believe Starship offers the possibility to do that”, said Shotwell, in an interview with Time.
The Starship is still under development and is believed to be ready to carry out the first mission to Mars in 2024.
