In a special Christmas concert, the Estoril Casino’s Black and Silver Room will host, on December 8th, from 6 pm, “Spectacular Opera“. This is an unmissable show that is the great festival of lyric singing and opera in Portugal.The success of the “Opera Spectacular“, which has won the audience several times, has ensured the continuity of one of the most acclaimed lyric shows in Portugal, which has a fixed cast of 6 lyrical singers, accompanied by the PSP Symphonic Band.
This will be the first special Christmas concert of this great lyric singing party. “Spectacular Opera” includes holiday classics and some of the themes that make up the show’s diverse repertoire, such as opera arias, Neapolitans, Zarzuelas, Broadway, and even pop / electronic song in union with lyrical singing. This production will feature guests from various musical genres who will join the lyric singers, as well as a choir of about 40 elements.
The “Opera Spectacular” concert promises to be a dream come true for spectators, for all the musical and vocal grandeur in a fantasy setting in a setting created for this major production.
Part of the box office proceeds will go to the Academy of Psychology and Theater, the nonprofit children’s and youth support and training association.
