Which is? Opened in 2012 in Largo do Intendente, it functions as a cultural association, concert hall, bar and restaurant. It has since become Lisbon’s favourite nightlife destination.
Why go? It is located in an old palace, which was also the House of the District of Figueiró dos Vinhos, and has a regular schedule of concerts and parties. At the end of 2016, it was extended to the Top Floor, as they called it. On the second floor, there is another bar/auditorium, with one of the best balconies in Lisbon (overlooking the famous courtyard of the Casa Independente). This floor can also be rented for private parties.
Not to be missed: The bar serves teas, natural juices and cocktails. The kitchen feeds the body with finger food until midnight.
