Sporting beats Mafra in Alvalade (2-0)

Sporting received and won Mafra 2-0, in the quarter-finals of the League Cup. It was the second consecutive win for Rúben Amorim’s team.

The goals all came in the second half. Sporar (64’) opened the scoring, with Bruno Tabata (70’) putting an end to the discussion of the result.

With this result, Sporting becomes the first team qualified for the final four of the League Cup, which will be played in Leiria. Benfica, FC Porto, SC Braga, Paços de Ferreira, Vitória de Guimarães and Estoril are the other teams that will dispute the three missing places in the decisive phase.
