Sporting beats Moreirense in Lisbon

Sporting received and beat Moreirense 2-1, in a game counting for the eighth round of the League. Lions remain the only undefeated team in the league.

At a disadvantage since the 3-minute mark with an own goal by Neto, Rúben Amorim’s team stamped the turn with an encore by Pedro Pereira (8’and 75’).

With this result, Sporting maintains the championship leadership with 22 points, six more than FC Porto and seven than SC Braga and Benfica (both with less than one game). Moreirense occupies the 11th position, with eight points.
