Sporting wins Super Cup
Sporting played against Benfica in the super cup at Restelo Stadium, beating their rival by 2-0, thus winning the first trophy of the season.
The game that brought the two teams from Lisbon face to face, and it was Sporting’s players who achieved victory, taking home the first cup of this season, with goals from Brenda Pérez on 51′ and Joana Marchão on 86′, Sporting won Benfica, winning their second super cup.
Sporting is the only club with two trophies, Benfica, Sporting de Braga, Valadares Gaia and Futebol Benfica, which have one achievement each.
