Sporting defeated Portimonense 2-0

Sporting received and beat Portimonense (2-0), in a game counting for the third round of the League. It was the second consecutive triumph of Rúben Amorim’s team.

The game was decided in the first half. Nuno Mendes (4’) opened the asset in a good individual play and Nuno Santos (11’) made the second of the lions.

With this result, Sporting rises to fourth place with six points, the same as Marítimo and FC Porto. Portimonense, on the other hand, is in 16th place with just one point.
