Sporting loses to Borussia Dortmund for the Champions League (0-1)

After a resounding defeat against Ajax (1-5) in the opening round of the Champions League group stage, Sporting leaves Dortmund with another defeat (0-1).

The only goal of the match was scored in the 37th minute by Malen, the result of a quick transition down the center aisle, Akanji served Bellingham who, in turn, launched Malen, who entered the leonine area and beat Adán.

Sporting tried to react, create some finishing situations, but they couldn’t avoid another defeat in the Champions League, thus continuing without scoring.

Besiktas are the lions’ next opponents, in the 3rd round of the group stage, a game scheduled for October 19, in Istanbul.
