Sporting lost for the first time in the League (4-3)

Benfica received and won, this Saturday, Sporting in Luz, by 4-3, imposing, in the 33rd and penultimate round, the first defeat to the new national champion in the League. Haris Seferovic (12′ and 49′, gp), Pizzi (28′) and Lucas Veríssimo (37′) scored the four goals for Jorge Jesus’ team, with Pedro Gonçalves (45+1′ and 77′, gp) and Nuno Santos (62′) to reduce for the lion.

With this triumph, Benfica reaches 73 points and is, in the condition, one of FC Porto. Sporting, already champion, is unable to match the record of points (88) and continues with 82.
