Sporting won the Men’s Super Cup (74-64)
Sporting beat Imortal (74-64) in the basketball super cup final. The Algarve even reached the break winning (37-36), but eventually succumbed to the lions in the last two periods.
Micha Downs and Joshua Patton (both with 17 points) were featured in the green and white ensemble. Fábio Lima (9 points) was the most inspired by Immortal, but he couldn’t avoid the Algarve defeat.
With this result, Sporting succeeds FC Porto, the last super-cup winner in 2019. This is the first time that the lions have won this trophy.
